This is an excellent opportunity for a disabled person (including D/deaf) to gain valuable work experience with the Employability services, at East Lothian Council in Haddington

Rate of Pay: £9.07 per hour
Contract: 455 hours (13 weeks full time - all forms of flexible working considered)
Location: East Lothian Works, 9-11 Lodge Street, Haddington

East Lothian Council provides many valuable services to the local community. The council helps children grow and learn, protect and care for the vulnerable, and provide the essential day-to-day services that allow people to work, live in or visit East Lothian. For example, the council provides the following services: education to children and young people; housing; waste management; roads and transportation; social work; economic development; planning; protective services; and culture and leisure facilities.


The Internship is within the council’s employability services, East Lothian Works.

The intern will be part of a small friendly team, assisting with the development of the council’s employability service. The intern will support specific projects, such as Developing Scotland’s Young Workforce and No One Left Behind.
