Home Working Consideration

This post is being advertised as a fixed term maternity cover. The successful candidate will be a key member of the East Lothian Works Leadership & Management Team.
We are seeking applications from individuals who have a fine eye for detail, who can co-ordinate a team of people whilst managing employability related finance contracts and a complex portfolio of external funding sources. The preferred candidate will ensure compliance to standards whilst supporting the delivery of a consumer responsive employability service provision.
The individual will be solution focussed, proactive, have proven networking skills and experience of leading teams and being a team player. The successful candidate will actively look for opportunity and have a history of impactful project implementation. They will also have the ability to present up to date data reports and infographics as required by the Service Manager, which can be accessed by the entire team. They will have the ability to see and act on opportunities, be an able communicator and facilitator and be organised. Developing teams and people will be central to this role.
The successful candidate will work at pace, manage a variety of competing priorities, have line management experience and most importantly have a proven track record in contract management and compliance.
The start date for this post will be 14th November 2022.

The Jobholder must be educated to Degree level or equivalent in Social Sciences, Economic Development, Education or Business Management and/or be
