East Lothian is a fast-growing area progressing a range of exciting large-scale projects balanced together with focussed climate and sustainability ambition – including a new settlement, development to encourage innovation in core economic areas, significant brown field regeneration and initiatives to reduce carbon. The post holders will be resourceful and self-directed, taking responsibility for the planning, design, development and leadership of effective project implementation plans, able to identify new funding sources, to fully develop business cases to UK Treasury standards and to balance and manage risk. They will be adept at collaborating and engaging with colleagues in governments, key agencies, landowners and developers and the wide range of interested stakeholders. They will also  be creative, collaborative and confident Project Managers with an accomplished track record of leadership and demonstrable positive outcomes in growth and regeneration, ready for the challenge of a role that will have a lasting impact on East Lothian’s economy and prospects.  If this is you, please apply!
