We are seeking a highly motivated Social Work Manager to join the team in East Lothian.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is motivated to drive quality improvement, instil professional curiosity and support a culture of continuous professional and service development throughout the workforce. Along with providing operational management and leadership to a workforce of Social Workers and Community Care Workers, the successful candidate will contribute to the strategic development of the service, supporting the General Manager to set direction and drive improvement.
We are seeking an individual who will provide strong leadership, delivering and modelling collaborative working within a multi professional partnership. Utilising contributions from all to deliver optimal integrated services.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with senior managers across the HSCP to support the delivery of the strategic objectives of the Integrated Joit Board, and drive the delivery of a professional social work service. I

Registered social worker or hold a first level degree. Leadership/managerial postgraduate qualification or equivalent managerial experience including:
Supervising multiple teams of staff.
Managing budgets at significant levels, e.g. £1m+.
Leading change as opposed to contributing to a programme of change.
Performance management of staff e.g. management of grievances/ disciplinary proceedings.
Delivering on KPIs of a service for which they have been responsible.
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post
