Applications are invited from suitably qualified graduates for the above position.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the development of East Renfrewshire’s Children’s Mental and Emotional Wellbeing Recovery Response Service, a new and innovative approach to promoting and supporting the mental wellbeing of children and young people.

The Educational Psychology Assistant will be part of the Educational Psychology Service (EPS) team and will be line-managed by the Principal Educational Psychologist.  However, s/he will be located within the Children’s Mental and Emotional Wellbeing Recovery Response Service and will work closely with the Recovery and Service Development Coordinator (Children/Young People’s Wellbeing) and seconded Recovery Teacher. 

Key tasks will include supporting the implementation and evaluation of the new Recovery Response Service.  There will also be the opportunity to work alongside others to develop and deliver effective interventions that support children and young people’s mental wellbeing.
