Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Trust currently applies a living wage supplement to all employees earning less than £9.07 per hour. The value of the living wage supplement is subject to regular review by the Council and the Trust, is non-contractual and can be changed at any time.
Based within a busy High School (out-with the main school office), you will provide dedicated clerical support to a group of Faculty Heads and Senior Leadership Team.
The post will include a variety of administration duties including typing, updating pupil records and databases, working with spreadsheets, filing, photocopying etc. As the work is of a highly confidential nature it requires an individual who is mature, and due to constantly changing demands, someone who is flexible in their approach.
Applicants should have recent significant and relevant clerical experience. ICT is used extensively throughout the school and it is essential that applicants have excellent keyboard skills and be highly competent in the use of E-mail, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher. A working knowledge of finance would be desirable.
You will work 22.5 hours per week on a term time basis. Hours of work are 9.30am to 2.30pm with a half hour unpaid break.
