Falkirk Community Trust currently applies a living wage supplement to all Trust employees on spinal column point 18 or below. As your SCP is below this, you will currently be paid a living wage supplement on top of your hourly rate to bring your earnings to £9.07 per hour. The value of the living wage supplement is subject to regular review by the Trust, is non-contractual and may be changed or removed at any time.

The successful candidate will be employed by Falkirk Community Trust. The Trust is a charitable company set up by Falkirk Council to deliver culture, library, recreation and sport services on its behalf from 1 July 2011.

 Are you good with practical tasks? Do you like working outdoors? Then you might be our new Estates Maintenance Assistant.

Falkirk Community Trust are looking for enthusiastic capable people to join their parks team to provide cover for holidays and special events/projects.

You will be self-motivated, with experience in maintaining parks and open spaces, and willing to work evenings and weekends when required.

Practical skills are a must, including experience with some of the following key tasks

grass cutting

litter picking

strimming

safety checks

golf course maintenance ( raking bunkers etc.)

A full driving license is essential.

You must be able to work at a variety of locations including Callendar Park, Grangemouth Golf Course, Muiravonside Country Park and Kinneil Estate. Our parks are busy places enjoyed by people from all over Falkirk, and beyond, and you will be able to deal with any enquiries politely and tackle any issues you see promptly.

You will work on an as and when required basis.
