With a Certificate of Personnel/HR Practice or equivalent you’ll provide high quality front line HR & payroll support by providing basic advice and guidance on a wide range of HR and payroll queries.
You’ll also be responsible for administering our employee benefits schemes, processing family leave applications and assisting with absence issues. You’ll carry out research and project work and support the HR Reward and HR Operations teams.
You will have a working knowledge of current HR issues and HR admin procedures, experience in MS Office packages and strong communication and customer care skills.
You will have organisational skills including the ability to deal with competing demands and an analytical and clear approach to problem solving.
Ideally you will have experience working with trade unions or experience working in a public sector or political environment.
You will work 14 hours per week.
This post is temporary until March 2022 due to service requirement.
