At Falkirk, we are proud of our core values: human rights, social justice, and professional integrity. We celebrate diversity and are committed to reflecting the communities we serve. Our practice is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and relationship-focused, ensuring that the people we support are at the centre of everything we do.

About the Role

As a Justice Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals involved in the justice system to make positive changes and reduce reoffending. You will work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework to promote rehabilitation and enhance public protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality reports for courts, and partner agencies
  • Deliver statutory supervision for individuals subject to community orders
  • Attendance at court
  • Work in partnership with Police, Courts, Prisons, and third-sector organisations
  • Assess and manage risk using accredited tools (e.g. LS/CMI, SARA, SA07, Stable & Acute)
  • Contribute to MAPPA, RMCCs, and case reviews
  • Support reintegration and promote desistance through person-centred interventions

Why Choose Falkirk?

We are a growing, dynamic, and supportive service, with new staff joining us to help shape our future direction.

We offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive team culture
  • Opportunities to influence and shape service delivery

  • Have experience in Justice Social Work (desirable, but not essential)

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
