Requirements

To provide an efficient and effective business support service in a professional manner in line with business requirements.

Providing a customer-oriented approach, delivering a service which is responsive to customer needs. 

You will undertake a verity of tasks pertaining to records management including storing/retrieval and destruction of archived files, scanning and updating systems. 

You will be required to retrieve files from high and low shelves, lifting and carrying files/archive boxes.  Step stools and trolleys are provided.

The role also involves maintaining computer systems and processes, data/word processing, preparing and distributing documentation, mail handling, minute taking and copying/printing.

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £9.07 per hour for this post.

The Individual

National 4 with core skills modules, SVQ1, 3 Standard or “O” Grades or Equivalent.

You should have experience of working in an office using current computer based applications to carry out a range of duties. Good communication skills are necessary including an awareness of customer care with telephone, e-mail and face to face enquiries.

Confidentiality awareness is essential.

You should be a confident user of IT applications, showing ability to use packages effectively.

Key skills required include numeracy, attention to detail, time management, customer service/care, interpersonal and organisational.

You should be able to work as part of a team or on your own as required.
