Job Description

A new and  exciting opportunity has arisen within GHSCP Finance Team based in Albion St, Glasgow.   GHSCP is in Phase 1 of a 3 year IT development known as Eclipse, and we are looking to recruit 2  Senior Officer (Finance) posts to support the development and management of the new Payments and Charging Team.  This team will be responsible for care payments to Providers and Service Users of c£335m, and effective billing arrangements. Reporting directly to the Principal Officer (Finance) key requirements are an ability to support / line manage / develop staff through periods of transformational change, and to work effectively with key stakeholders.   Extensive finance experience, sound IT and numerical competencies are essential.  Experience of staff management is desirable but not essential.

These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).

This post is fixed term for a period up to 2 years.
