Social Worker - 3 Posts - (Temporary)

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of an integrated health and social care team and will manage a caseload of service users with complex needs.

They will work closely within a multi-disciplinary team, assessing, care planning and supporting service users and will be responsible for statutory based work including Adult Support and Protection and be critical in building relationships with service users and their families.

We are looking for an enthusiastic , recovery focussed individual that displays the ability to manage change and risk.

Applicants must either possess a Degree / Diploma in Social Work (or Social Work equivalent) and currently be SSSC registered as a Social Worker or be fully registered within 6 months of taking up a position.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Check Please note as part of the local government pay deal, local authority staff are currently not required to pay SSSC fees.

The post is excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2003 (as amended).

This post is temporary for a period up to 31st March 2025.
