This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) support team as our new Communications Officer.  Glasgow City ADP is tasked with tackling alcohol and drug issues for the individuals, families and communities of Glasgow.  The city has a number of unique challenges and strengths and we need an experienced and innovative Communications Officer to work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the effective sharing and promotion of the work of the partnership.  This will include the promotion of new service developments,  recovery community activity, health improvement and public health campaigns.  You will support the ADP Coordinator and team to deliver on local and national strategic priorities including the development and delivery of a comprehensive communications strategy and implementation plan. Working with lived and living experienced groups, including families, will be critical to the success of this role.  Refer to the job description (section 12) for the qualification / experience require for this role.  This is an integrated position as part of the Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership.  The successful applicant, if an employee of the Partnership, will be appointed to the post under the terms and conditions of either Glasgow City Council (GCC) or NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC), depending on current employer.  If the successful applicant is not an employee of the Partnership, they may choose to be appointed to the post under the terms and conditions of either GCC or NHSGGC.
