Working as part of a team within a busy HR environment, you will confidently deliver a high quality and professional service to managers/Heads of Establishment, on all employee relations and workforce planning matters whilst ensuring effective and consistent application of Council policies and procedures.
You will be customer focused and have excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with the ability to manage a range of conflicting priorities.
You will also provide support and assistance to the Senior HR Officer on day to day operational HR issues and service reform projects.
A knowledge of HR policies and procedures within a highly unionised environment is essential and possession of, or working towards, a relevant HR qualification, is desirable.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
