Job Description

We have four posts working with our Glasgow Community Planning Partners (GCPP).  Working as part of a small partnership team on a city transformation initiative that has a set of ambitious and challenging goals aimed at tackling some of the city’s long-standing issues relating to poverty, health, skills and justice.

We are particularly interested in hearing from graduates who are passionate about Glasgow and who would relish the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives.

With the ability to analyse and problem solve issues, you will support us to identify opportunities to drive forward our transformation agenda. You will develop a range of skills and knowledge in areas such as partnership working, citizen focussed service delivery, project management, business change, innovative thinking and stakeholder engagement, with opportunities to build strong relationships and enhance your professional networks.  Knowledge of the current pressures driving change within the public sector would be an advantage, although not essential.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of research and digital approaches.   You will have the ability to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team.  In addition, a working knowledge of how best to utilise social media, how to apply data analysis, and deliver presentations is also required.

You will receive a competitive salary and a range of benefits including generous annual leave and discounted Glasgow Club membership.
“This post is part funded by the Glasgow Guarantee Employability Support Initiative targeted at reducing and sustaining unemployment levels for Glasgow citizens. All applicants must be able to evidence that they live within Glasgow City Council boundaries and are unemployed/under-employed.”
