Post Title: Community General Nursing Services Band 5 - Immunisation Team (2 posts)
Location:   Inverness
Hours:       22.5 hours per week - Term time
Duration:  Permanent
Salary:      £11,841 - £14,931 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job  Purpose: The Schools-based Immunisation Programme represents a key public health measure which contributes to the achievement of national and local health objectives through the focus on preventative care for school children. This role will provide professional nursing skills to ensure effective delivery of the Schools-based Immunisation Programme across Highland Council.

The hours are annualised so fluctuate over each week with most being worked during term.

The team will work with the NHS Highland Public Health Department, education and school nursing colleagues to develop a robust and safe team approach to the promotion, awareness raising and delivery of the schools based immunisation programme.

• Successfully completed online immunisation module (or willing to undertake).
