Location: Portree, Isle of Skye
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term for 12 months
Salary: £46,155 - £49,959 per annum
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:
Provide dedicated professional support to the Strategic Lead in the redesign and amalgamation of Roads and Amenity services, focusing on operational improvement, workforce alignment, and service resilience across the Highland Council area.
Support the Service Management Team with strategic improvement initiatives, particularly those aimed at income generation and service efficiency.
Undertake audits of service delivery to ensure compliance with statutory duties, codes of practice, service specifications, and Council policies.

Requirements
A general degree or equivalent qualification, or a minimum of three years’ relevant operational experience within a comparable service environment.
Full driving licence or access to personal transport, with the ability to travel across the Highland Council area.
Willingness and flexibility to undertake overnight stays away from home where required to deliver service objectives.
