Inverclyde HSCP’s SVQ Centre is offering an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, for an experienced assessor/verifier, focusing on Early Years and Childcare provision, supporting the organisation’s learning and quality agenda.

Applicants should be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team to assess the competence of staff against national occupational standards and to quality assure the work of other assessors through undertaking internal verification.

An enthusiastic approach is required with a clear commitment to providing positive training experiences for learners.

In order to support the development of the SVQ centre, the applicant should possess relevant qualifications and experience in the area of Early Years and Childcare, with a willingness to work towards the SVQ Internal Verifier qualification L&D11 (or equivalent). 

Excellent organisational and communication skills are vital, in conjunction with the ability to motivate, develop and support learners. 

The successful applicant will take responsibility for their own professional development and will champion learning, continuous development and SVQ within the HSCP.
