As part of the recently created Place division within Midlothian Council the Economic Development Team have a varied portfolio that includes redundancy support to those to those at risk of, or that have been made redundant, to secure a positive destination.
This post is funded by The Scottish Government PACE Programme to 31/03/2022, this may be extended.
The Delivery Worker post will have a lead role in developing local support to provide targeted interventions.
The postholder will represent Midlothian Council at partner events and be responsible for data recording and reporting.
It is essential that the post holder has one or more qualification at SCQF Level 7 or equivalent work experience.
It is essential that the post holder has experience of 121 support and delivering programmes and projects to individuals and groups.
It is desirable that they have supervised colleagues and have some experience of developing learning programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who can demonstrate previous experience in a person centred role, preferably linked to employability. The role requires effective communication skills and a results orientated approach.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.
Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £27,200.39 per annum.
