KNOWLEDGE:

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Graduate business-related degree or equivalent. Up to 5 years’ experience.
  • Project management certification or equivalent
  • Effective Communicator – Verbally and written
  • Experience in the delivery of small to medium projects on time
  • Experience in Council/Health and Social Care business area
  • Able to show good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates Midlothian Council Values

Desirable

  • PRINCE2 or AGILE practitioner.
  • Knowledge of telecare sector
  • Able to use a PC and M365 applications suite.

This project requires a highly motivated and experienced project manager to deliver an effective switchover for all three services. Given the timelines and the expectations of the post, the ideal candidate will have experience and detailed knowledge of the current telecare sector in Scotland – the potential and the challenges of the digital switchover.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.

Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £32,112.99 per annum.
