Work across any of our Swimming Pools, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Aquatics Team. You will deliver high quality Swimming Lessons based on Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim Framework. You will ensure the safe and effective operation of the swimming lesson programme, teach and develop appropriate lessons for groups and individuals as well as undertaking promotional and marketing duties in connection with all lessons as required.
With experience in a leisure facility, you will hold a minimum of the Scottish Swimming Teacher qualification (SSTQ). ASA/UKCC Level 1 Teachers qualification in swimming or equivalent with a requirement to attain ASA/UKCC Level 2 Teachers qualification in swimming. You will also have experience and an understanding of the health and safety requirements within the leisure industry.
Equally important is your team player attitude as is your ability to work on your own initiative. Excellent communication and customer care skills as well as the ability to comply with the flexible hours associated with the programme are also essential.
As a requirement of these posts, the successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.
As a casual worker you will be offered work as and when required, you will not be guaranteed a fixed number of hours per week and will only receive payment for hours worked.
