This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable individual to join the team responsible for the strategy and development of the Town and Community Hub Programme, and the delivery of the associated capital programme.
This post is located within the Forward Planning and Specification team, within Assets and Procurement, and reports directly to the Forward Planning Manager.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about data and who wants to make a difference in North Lanarkshire. Strong analytical skills and an ability to research, understand, create, link and operate data is vital to this role. The role requires the ability to understand data as well as being able to provide analysis and insight through clear visual, digital, written and verbal communication.
The development of systems and reports which will inform decisions that prioritise the allocation of finance and delivery alignment for projects linked to North Lanarkshire Council’s ambitious plans through the Town and Community Hub programme of work.
The successful candidate will contribute to the rationale and narrative which informs the delivery of the capital infrastructure programme taking a lead role in the development of the school roll projection system. This role will provide analytical support for specific stages to the decision making for projects from inception to completion. Accordingly, you will hold a minimum of SVQ4/HND level qualification) in a relevant discipline and have experience of data management and using a variety of data analysis tools/systems.
This will be a highly rewarding but challenging role, helping improve our learning and teaching estate, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our assets within our communities. If you are passionate about data and technology, this role will suit you perfectly.
In addition, the post holder is expected to liaise with internal and external partners to deliver work linked to the Town and Community Hub programme so excellent communication skills are essential.

You will be joining a dynamic and flexible team within Assets & Procurement who currently operate a hybrid working model of home-working and office-based work (minimum of six days per four weeks) at locations within North Lanarkshire.
