NLC11 - £37,837 - £41,668 (Pro Rata)

 

Working within an allocated secondary school, you will be responsible to the Learning & Improvement Manager for delivering services in line with key strategic and local priorities of the CLD team, schools and the wider community.

You will work in partnership with pupils, parents, carers, teachers and other agencies to develop programmes that provide support for young people. Whilst maintaining a whole school approach, there will be a particular emphasis on work with our most disadvantaged young people and families in order to improve health and wellbeing, reduce the attainment gap and improve positive and sustained leaver destinations.

You must have a CLD Standards Council approved professional qualification in Community Learning & Development.

The successful candidate will also have experience of collaborative working with a variety of agencies and of using quality assurance systems. Experience of writing and delivering learning packages is desirable.

An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have knowledge of current national and local developments in working with young people as well as good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.  A flexible approach to working hours is essential.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip.  You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
