We currently have an opportunity to join our Land Management Support Team based in Fleming House, Cumbernauld. As a key member of the team you will be involved primarily in the provision of a Land Survey and Records service including maintenance and development of records.

The role is both challenging and varied, involving dealing with land and asset information and will rely on your sound knowledge in these areas combined with your excellent IT skills. With experience in both desktop and onsite survey skills you will ensure special data related to land records are kept up to date. You will make frequent use of your IT skills to; record data, produce reports and interrogate and analyse information. You will have good working knowledge of GIS. You will have a customer focused approach to work and excellent communication and organisational skills.  

You will possess an SVQ3, HNC or equivalent along with previous onsite and desktop survey skills and experience. You will have first class IT skills, with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office packages, especially Access, Excel and GIS. You will have the ability to solve problems, work under pressure and communicate sensitively and effectively. You will also have the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your initiative.

Work Pattern - Wednesday & Thursday 8.45am to 4.45pm (50 minute unpaid break),      Friday 8.45am to 4.15pm (50 minute unpaid break).

Please note, from 1st April 2019 all new employees to North Lanarkshire Council will be paid on a 4-weekly basis.
