This role is currently based at home on an agile working arrangement in line with covid requirements. Based within the Council’s Asset Management Section, you will work in a team whose purpose is the continual development and implementation of asset management planning for North Lanarkshire Council’s property portfolio. You will be required to assist in capturing, assessing and reporting on the Council’s property performance as well as use the data to inform future investment programmes.
To succeed in this role you will be self disciplined and motivated with an analytical approach to thinking and will have a SVQ3, HNC, General degree or be working towards a property related qualification.
Experience in an Asset Management environment is essential including knowledge of interpreting data to provide accurate reports and the maintenance of property databases and spreadsheets for statistical analysis.
Knowledge and ability to undertake property performance audits and the application of asset management techniques in investment planning is also essential.
You should have knowledge of developing and maintaining asset policies and procedures and also be able to demonstrate your experience in this area.
Experience of asset management ICT systems would be desirable.
