Trainee Environmental Health Officer (12 months Temporary)
NLC6 £21,558 to £23,304
North Lanarkshire Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual as a Trainee Environmental Health Officer to undergo practical training in line with the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) Scheme of Professional Practice for you to be presented for the REHIS Professional Examination for you to qualify as an Environmental Health Officer.
To apply for this post you must have completed the BSc course in Environmental Health, or equivalent. You must also have excellent IT skills, be an effective communicator and have the ability to work to specific directions and deadlines in a team environment. Knowledge of Environmental Health is essential as is experience of working with the general public. A driving licence is desirable.
