Job Description

NLC4 £21,944 - £23,184 Pro Rata

Exciting opportunity exist to join our events team in Cumbernauld Theatre, supporting the delivery of events and productions within our theatre and events venues.

Active and Creative Communities within North Lanarkshire Council provide a number of varied Culture and Leisure services across the authority area.  These Venue Attendant roles are critical in the delivery of the event-based programme at the brand-new Cumbernauld Theatre.

The successful applicants will be responsible for the set-up and resetting of events within the above venues together with ensuring the facilities are cleaned before and after events.  You will require excellent customer care skills and previous experience of key holding responsibilities.

Reporting to the specific Team Manager, we are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience of caretaking, cleaning and maintenance work.  Ideally with some event experience, but not essential.

Work Pattern - 14 hour post - (2 week rotation early shift and late shift Saturday and Sunday)

This post is fixed term until 30 June 2023.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip.  You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
