A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our enthusiastic and friendly team in Parkdale Care Home for older adults. You will provide support to the cook with food preparation for our residents as well as stock rotation and stock control. You will ensure a clean, tidy, hygienic and safe working environment, follow cleaning schedules and be responsible for cleaning designated areas, working on your own and as part of a team. You will work in line with agreed infection control standards and regulatory requirements. You will follow the Council's Health & Safety and Infection Control Policies and Procedures at all times. 
The preferred individual must be committed to delivering high quality services and have good understanding of Health and Safety, Infection Control, and Food Hygiene policies and procedures. You will have effective communication skills and work efficiently as part of a team and on your own initiative. As an employee you will be required to treat colleagues and customers with dignity and respect and should be committed to promote and role model the Council’s values on equality and diversity.
