This is an opportunity for an experienced and energetic Chartered Surveyor to join our Estates and Commercial Investment Team to provide Professional Surveying services to underpin our ambitious plans for property and infrastructure development in support of Economic growth across the Perth City region. If you would like to share in our ambition, commitment and drive to enhance the lives of the people within Perth and Kinross and you have the skills and experience for this job then we would like to hear from you. The role will be based in our Communities service working on various infrastructure and property projects to secure delivery by negotiation in land acquisition, development and disposals. The post will be within the Estates and Commercial Investment Team working as part of a team of professional and technical colleagues responsible for property and estates services.
You will be RICS qualified with significant post qualification experience ideally working in or closely with Scottish Local Authority or other public sector organisations undertaking a range of corporate estates and commercial development property transactions. Experience in Regeneration, Compulsory Purchase/ statutory acquisition and use of joint venture delivery mechanisms of projects would be advantageous but is not essential.
