Do you love a challenge? Do you like to work in a busy team and undertake routine tasks with a little bit of variety?
If so, we have a vacancy for Senior Financial Assessment Assistants within the Assessment & Charging Team.
This will include working with vulnerable citizens, third parties and organisations to ensure people are being charged the correct amount for any care and support services that they receive.
Predominantly you will be supporting colleagues to complete calculations to determine how much a person is asked to pay and processing care service invoices ensuring that local and national care providers are paid for the care services they are delivering.

For purposes of connection and collaboration with colleagues and with the community we serve, our full-time employees work on site for a minimum of 2 days per week with the arrangements for part time employees being agreed on a basis which will ensure that they benefit to an equivalent degree.

The Individual
You will bring a flexible approach to work along with a willingness to learn new things as you will also have the opportunity to be involved in other areas within the team.
You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment, have a person centred approach, a good sense of humour and importantly have a proactive get up and go attitude.
Due to the team working hybrid, support will be provided however, you will require to be self-motivated and be able to identify when additional support is required.
It would be helpful if you have experience in finance, using financial systems and are able to accurately update and maintain systems with large volumes of client information.
