Housing Officer, Perth  PKC09862
£17,298 - £19,044 (21.6 hours/week) Fixed Term (until 20/3/2024)

This role is within the City Locality Housing Team. You will work as part of a large team and will report to and support the Area Co-ordinator in providing a comprehensive housing management service to tenants and residents in your area. You will help to create vibrant, attractive, safe and sustainable neighbourhoods and communities. You will ensure that tenants are comfortable, supported and secure in their homes and provide accurate and relevant advice and guidance to help tenants to manage and sustain their tenancies. Services you will provide in your area include estate management; rent accounting and arrears control; tenancy management including addressing anti-social behaviour and neighbour disputes; housing advice, assistance and information.

The Individual

You should ideally hold a Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3/4 Certificate/Diploma in Housing Practice or relevant equivalent; have experience of working in housing and or related environment; be computer literate with proven IT skills. You must hold a clean current UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work use to undertake this role. You will bring a positive energy; embrace change and work with the business to ensure optimum service is always provided. You will have the ability to understand basic relevant legislation.
