We're looking for an experienced internal recruiter/recruitment assistant to join our HR Service and play a key role in attracting and recruiting the right talent to work in the Council.
Our small, busy and friendly team believe in creating a positive candidate and employee experience so having excellent communication skills and a solution focused outlook is essential in the role.
You will work alongside our managers to support and advise on their resourcing requirements to widen our talent reach including social media and events. We are looking for individuals to think creatively and positively influence our employer brand.
You will be involved in posting job vacancies, recruitment administration including pre-employment checks and developing our social media presence.
You will be driven and highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. You will also be keen to learn and develop and share your ideas with others.
You will have experience of using bespoke recruitment / IT systems as well as a good working of word / excel / outlook. Highly developed customer service skills are essential within this role.
