The role will involve working in a friendly and supportive environment, supporting two teams within the Human Resources department; the HR Systems Team and Employment and Payroll Services Team. These include support to maintain the Council’s various HR systems, assisting with payroll and employment contract related tasks and handling a variety of customer queries. Training and support will be given throughout the apprenticeship and the role will involve both working on your own initiative and closely with members of the team(s).

After gaining your initial qualification, you may also have the opportunity to gain a Payroll or HR qualification which will be funded by the Council. As a Modern Apprentice with Perth and Kinross Council there will also be many other exciting opportunities to get involved in such as corporate events, networking MA Connections events, participation in charity fundraising and taking part in community volunteering activities.
