£31,984 - £39,305 (or NHS 6 Band)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre management accountant to become part of Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership’s Finance Team based predominantly in Perth. This post offers the opportunity to develop your career in a fast paced, complex and rewarding environment. Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership has responsibility for In Patient Mental Health across Tayside and this is an opportunity for someone to come in and influence how the financial framework for the whole mental health pathway will look, linking in with colleagues across Dundee and Angus.
The successful candidate will provide financial support and management accounting advice to operational budget holders who have a range of budget portfolios across both organisations thus helping to support the work of the Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership. You will also be closely involved in providing financial support to managers as they develop service transformational redesign initiatives to meet the challenging financial circumstances being experienced by public sector organisations across Scotland.
You should have relevant management accounting experience: preferably have experience in either Local Authority or NHS Finance and be either fully qualified or making progress towards a professional accountancy qualification. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, the ability to manage change and to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential qualities.
Salary placement will be dependent on progress towards full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body and/or experience to date.
