The Health & Social Care Partnership Adult Social Work and Social Care Learning & Development Team is excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced SVQ Assessor/Internal Verifier, to sustain and develop our capacity to support social care staff through SVQ qualifications at levels L2 and L3 and in leadership at L4. You will have a relevant practice qualification in health & social care and hold qualifications L&D9DI/L&D11//D32/D33/D34.
You will enjoy working as part of a team, be experienced in assessing and verifying candidates in a range of care settings including the community, participate in the development of SVQ learning opportunities, team improvement and innovation to support our workforce in fulfilling their potential.
You will have experience of developing and reviewing assessment-centre policy and co-ordinating external verification processes.
You will have opportunity to employ a range of assessment models i.e. group learning and assessment/feedback, blended learning etc.

For this role it would be desirable if you hold a full driver's licence, with access to a car and have a flexible approach to working hours.
The ability to support candidates to work to timescales and motivate and inspire enthusiasm in continuous professional development is essential.
Having skills and experience in designing and delivering learning programmes are also essential, to provide blended learning opportunities, support SVQ candidates to acquire core underpinning knowledge and skills and contribute to the CPD of a range of social care staff.
