Primary School Support Assistant - PKC07800
£10,525 - £11,159 (25 Hours per week, Term-time only)
Pitlochry High School, Primary Department

Pitlochry High School is an All Through School with children ranging in age from 2 to 16 years.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and caring person to work within the Primary area of the school.

Duties will include supporting children in class, also during lunchtimes and breaktimes either in dining hall or class, as well as playground supervision as required.

You will have responsibility for the safety and welfare of our pupils during this time.  Some first aid may be involved but training will be available.

The Individual

We are looking for a caring individual who can relate well to all primary ages and have had previous experience of working with children.

You must be able to deal calmly and fairly with playground disputes and have an understanding of restorative approaches.

Basic first aid and child protection knowledge would be beneficial, although training will be given.
