Working as a key member of the Housing Repairs Service, you will assist in the delivery of a first-class repairs service for our customers. The area of responsibility is for the South Locality including Crieff, Kinross and outlying areas. You will report directly to the Team Leader and be responsible for delivering the team’s functions including: the management of a multi-trade team and inspectors, monitoring of productivity to ensure performance targets are met for both responsive repairs and void properties, ownership for customer satisfaction, budget responsibility, health and safety for staff and encouraging a positive working attitude within the team. Applicants are required to have an appropriate qualification to HNC/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a construction/property or building trades function. In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are organised and have ability to manage an allocated budget, are confident with use of technology, have good written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and a full driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
