Opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Committee and Members' Services Teams within Legal and Governance Services to assist with the provision of effective and efficient support for the Council's decision making processes.
The main duties of the post will be to:
Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Councillors including maintaining diaries for individual councillors, organising and monitoring emails as requested, making meeting and travel arrangements, organise conference attendance, use Microsoft packages to produce a range of documents from dictation, handwritten script or telephone and undertake general research for Councillors. Deal effectively and diplomatically with telephone enquiries.
Other general administrative and secretarial duties associated with the operation of the service.
You will have
Knowledge of administrative procedures.

Articulate, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
