Kinross High School
We are delighted to offer the opportunity to be part of the vibrant Modern Languages Faculty at Kinross High School for maternity leave cover. This post is Temporary to August 2025 and could be extended beyond that date.
The faculty offers pathways for young people in French, German, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese and Russian from S1 to S6.

There will be the opportunity to have class responsibilities across the BGE and Senior Phase curriculum, along with the associated tracking and monitoring requirements.

If you have been selected for Interview for this post, you will be notified by Friday 23 August 2024. Interviews will be held on 28 August which will include a panel interview and a 30 minute lesson observation in French or Spanish to a class of S2 pupils. The full details of the lesson observation is provided on the attachment below.
The Individual
The successful candidate will be an effective and engaging classroom practitioner, have experience in developing a curriculum, have a proven track record in contributing to the whole school, and be able to assess, record and report on the progress of pupils.
