Renfrewshire Council is seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Corporate Finance Manager, following the appointment of the previous post holder to Head of Finance and Business Services.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Business Services, you will provide leadership to the corporate accounting team; analysis and information to budget holders and to Finance Business Partners, have responsibility for internal financial reporting, both to the Corporate Management Team and to Elected Members and act as chief business partner to Scotland Excel, Renfrewshire Valuation Joint Board and ClydePlan, for whom Renfrewshire Council is lead authority.

You will be a CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant with significant experience in delivering statutory reporting as well as developing people and processes. You will have excellent technical accounting, financial management and organisational skills, and be an effective communicator.
