Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership delivers high quality home care services to people of all ages and with different care needs. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, motivated and flexible people to join care at home services including home support, reablement and rapid response, extra care housing and overnight care.

Renfrewshire Care at Home service operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Core business is between 7.00am and 10.00pm, 30 hours per week split shift are available. The rota pattern in operation is 4 on/4off rota and you would be required to work early and back shift on the same day.Duties include assisting service users with all aspects of personal care including help with washing, dressing, toileting, medication, etc; help with preparing breakfast and other meals when necessary and assist service users to maintain and develop their daily living skills and improve independence.

You will require to undertake all relevant training for the post including attaining a SVQ2 in Social Care. It is essential that you have experience of working in a care setting and delivering personal care or in an informal/personal capacity; have an awareness of a range of long term conditions and have an understanding of the needs of people who require help from care services; be able to demonstrate within your application form that you are reliable and flexible with the ability to work as part of a team. You will also be required to demonstrate that you can communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and this would include monitoring and reporting changes in the identified needs of service users including the handling of sensitive information.You must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or achieve registration within 6 months of your start date.

2 x posts are 25 hours per week and the annual salary for working this is £11,497 - £12,709

1 x posts are 12.5 hours per week and the annual salary for working this is £5,748 - £6,354
