SHELTERED & AMENITY HOUSING MANAGER

 

 

Based in Gallowhill Court, Paisley, PA3 4NJ.

 

 

This new post will playa key role in the management of our award winning sheltered and amenity housing service, which provides support to older tenants at a number of locations across Renfrewshire

 

 

This is an opportunity to join an expanding service which has a growing reputation for introducing a broad range of health and wellbeing initiatives. You will have responsibility for leading and motivating this team along with supporting and guiding officers to deliver the sheltered housing service, which is registered with the Care Inspectorate, developing future policy and scoping out further innovations and improvements to our service delivery arrangements.

 

 

You are required to have a working knowledge of national policies in relation to housing for older people as well as a track record of supervising and developing service(s) in the housing support / management sector.  

 

 

It is essential that you have or are studying towards a qualification that is approved by the Scottish Social Services Council for registration as a manager of housing support employees. You will also have experience of effectively managing registered care/support services and/or housing management service as well as experience of ensuring services meet Care Inspectorate standards and demonstrate understanding of regulated service expectations including SSSC Codes of practice.

 

 

You will be customer and able to prioritise demanding workload and meet deadlines.

 

 

It is desirable that you have experience of working within or in conjunction with social care services.
