Scottish Borders Council Roads and Infrastructure department have a vacancy for an Assistant Site Technician within SBC Contracts. Applicants would require some knowledge and awareness relevant to the post that they are applying for. The post will be expected to undertake and self-develop the skills in all elements of setting out and measurement processes to fully support SBC Roads and Infrastructure business activities. The role provides critical information to allow the construction of internal and external projects to meet specifications and also return measurement values to the commercial teams. This an exciting opportunity for someone that is looking to succeed within a fully focused management team.
At least 3 SCE Higher Grades (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics or equivalent relevant experience
Commitment and ability to achieve an appropriate qualification to HNC/HND level
Appropriate CSCS card
A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post.
