Grade 9A You will be required to hold a Town Planning Qualification
Contract Duration: Temporary until 31 December 2020
A temporary full-time opportunity has arisen within in the Development Management section to cover a period of secondment and to assist in handling a full and varied caseload of planning and listed building consent applications within a wide geographical area.
The preference would be to recruit to a planning officer position, for which you should hold a degree or equivalent in planning and be capable of working with minimum supervision. However, applications will also be welcomed from suitably qualified and experienced appropriate to fill a technical grade role to assist in supporting the wider development management team. Position on salary scale and the nature of the work undertaken will be dependent on your experience and professional qualification.
For the planning officer, a degree, or post graduate qualification in Town Planning or related subject.
For the technical grade, an HNC or higher in an appropriate discipline.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
