Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role  you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.

Role Purpose

We are seeking Project Managers to help deliver the council’s Transformation Programme. You’ll join a team who work flexibly and collaborate via an engaging, virtual & supportive network - no matter your location.

You will be joining at a great time as we are resetting transformation in line with the Council’s corporate plan and vision, and you can play a crucial role in shaping and delivering this. We recently launched the Council Digital Strategy setting out the vision that Scottish Borders will become the UK’s first smart connected rural region. Along with digital, we will explore any opportunities to reimagine the way all of our many vital services can best serve communities.

You’ll be at the heart of this exciting transformational programme, responsible for delivering a range of business change projects, and will join a dynamic and forward thinking team - passionate about improving the lives of Scottish Borders’ residents.

Essential

Educated to degree level with a relevant project management/business analysis qualification
