Job Title: Residential Manager Learning Disability
Location: Lanark Lodge, Duns
Hours: 35 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent
Salary*: £20.92-£22.50 per hour/£38,4180.42 - £41,228.16 per annum
Qualifications: SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or equivalent. Registered Managers Award, SVQ Level 4 in Management or equivalent.

The Role:
- Responsibility for the operational management of the Support Team, ensuring effective human resources planning -including recruitment, staff retention, staff development and absence management.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and promote good practice within the service.
- Liaise with other professional agencies out-with the Council to ensure quality care for their residents.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and organisation.
- Ensure that the requirements in relation to safeguarding and adult protection for clients and staff are met. Escalating issues in a timely and appropriate manner to the Service Manager.
