We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious and experienced care home manager to join our SB Cares team and manage a well performing care home with a staff group of around 75 staff members.
Saltgreens is a 35 bed residential care home situated in the bustling fishing town of Eyemouth. A fairly modern building set out into 5 small group living environments over 3 floors set in the heart of the town with a real sense of community.
Saltgreens is part of the SB Cares group who provide Adult Health and Social Care services for Scottish Borders Council.
A Registered Managers Award or equivalent
SVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent and substantial proven and recent management experience in a relevant Social Care setting and evidence of potential to achieve the Registered Managers Award
SVQ Level 4 in Management or equivalent, and substantial proven and recent experience of working with older adults and their carers.
You will be required to undertake and complete training in order to achieve the criteria laid down by the Care Inspectorate and by departmental requirements and the SSSC.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.*
