There are various posts available, including relief contracts within the Kelso & Duns Homecare teams.

Role Purpose

We currently have vacancies within the Kelso, Duns & Eyemouth Homecare teams. Various contract sizes are available, including relief, evenings and weekends.

All offer of casual/relief work will be managed digitally through the MySirenum app downloaded to your Android/iOS device.

Using the MySirenum app, you will be able to update your availability/unavailability. Your availability is then visible to SBcares, enabling us to send offers of work to those are available on the dates and times required.

The support worker plays a vital role in supporting service users to met their needs as identified in their personal support plan through an outcome focused approach and based on the principles or independence, choice, rights, dignity and privacy. This may involve either working in a building based service or in the community.

 

Essential

Basic numeracy and literacy.
SVQ Level 2 in Social Care or to obtain in one year.
