The post of Animal Health Scheme Officer is responsible, through the Service Manager – Environmental Health, for the delivery, administration, monitoring and promotion of the Shetland Animal Health Scheme.
The post holder will be required to undertake a range of quantitative and qualitative research projects on Animal Health Issues whilst maintaining and analysing a database of Animal Health Scheme blood test results. They will prepare the quarterly and annual animal health reports to be shared with Agricultural Panel, Agricultural Community and Council.
