Advertisement Details

Café Assistants at the Islesburgh complex are responsible, through the Catering Supervisor and Islesburgh Facilities Manager, for the provision of a Cafeteria service to the Islesburgh Complex.

Café Assistants are required to work as part of a team to ensure that the Islesburgh cafe provides a high quality customer focused service, whilst also meeting all relevant health and safety requirements.

The facilities are open 7 days a week, normally from 9.00am to 9.00pm, Monday to Friday and until 6.00pm at the weekends. However, during special events and the youth hostel season the cafeteria may be open for longer periods of time. In the evening and weekends Café Assistants are responsible for the provision of the service and are required to work with minimal supervision from line managers. Lone working may be required dependent on service requirements.
